Jazz Improv Nights Televised on Prime 5

Under the glare of television lights, a shot of Yoly Eforma singing to the cameras and a small audience at a previous unidentified venue on the Cerveza Negra Jazz Bar Tour.

There's a new jazz show sponsored by Cerveza Negra called Jazz Improv Nights. It's going to air on Prime Channel every Monday at 8:30 pm with replays.

Taping began at Pier One Ortigas in August with everyone invited to sit-in and jam. Other venues like the SideBar Adriatico Malate and Mati, Powerplant have hosted the show.

According to Norman Castillo, “ It's an open mic kinda thing. Please come, we need your support to show on television that there's a big audience out there who crave for jazz. It's free. Spread the word, bring your instruments.”

Many thanks to Issa Estavillo for the photos.
